Cash boost for Aspull ABC Youth Club

The Dutchy of Lancaster Benevolent Fund has granted Aspull ABC Youth Club £1000 towards providing activities for young people.

David Wilmatt from the fund visited the youth club to present the cheque to youth club members.

Wigan Council Children and Young Peoples Services currently run sessions for older teenagers at Aspull ABC Youth Club on a Monday and Thursday evening but the hope is that this cash injection will enable the junior section of the club to re-open soon with help from volunteers from the community.

To find out about volunteering at Aspull ABC Youth Club, or for further information about the club, please get in touch with Beth Tilburn on 01524 65106 or email bethtilburn@lacyp.org.uk
