The Play Section run the Playwatch scheme to encourage the local community to become more involved in their local Play area.

We currently have around 60 community contacts who currently keep a watch on their local Play area. We simply ask them to let us know when something is wrong, such as damage to the equipment.

The community contacts are given names and numbers of the people who are directly responsible for the Maintenance and repairs on the Play area. This makes it easier for them to report incidents and for us to respond to issues speedily.
